Sarah Edmunds, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of South Carolina (USC), a faculty affiliate of the Carolina Autism and Neurodevelopment (CAN) Research Center at USC, and a licensed clinical psychologist. She studies neurodiversity-affirming autism services at the intersection of both intervention science (e.g., how and for whom do interventions work?) and implementation science (e.g., to what extent is fidelity vs. modification important for intervention quality and feasibility?). On RISE, Dr. Edmunds co-leads the implementation science team with Kyle Frost and is an active member of the data analysis team.

Alayna Borowy, M.A., is a Ph.D. student in Psychology with a concentration in School Psychology at the University of South Carolina. Alayna graduated from Ohio State University with a B.A. in Psychology. She is interested in understanding early social-emotional communication in young autistic children and the implementation and social validity of Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions within community settings. On RISE, Alayna is a member of the implementation science and training teams.
